Strathard Heritage Sites Assessment 1999-2000

This is an annex to the first Conservation Plan produced by the former Forestry Commission Scotland for the Aberfoyle area. It was produced by Mike Steward, the Conservation Forester and Manager for the area at that time.

It represents an important base line study as to the status of a significant number of heritage sites in the area and was undertaken in 1999-2000.

It is best considered in the context of “The Historic Landscape of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs” published in 2000 by the former RCAHMS and Historic Scotland (now HES).
